Ladies and Gentlemen meet our Woman Crush Wednesday, “the Gorgeous TV Woman” none other than DR. DEDUN-the wonder woman.

Real name Adedunmola Oluwo (24), is a graduate of the University of Debrecen Medical School in Hungary. Dr. Dedun is a perfect example of beauty and brains.

She broke all records and went against all odds by graduating successfully as a doctor and running four successful businesses across varied industries, all at the same time.

Beautiful Dr. Dedun just at 24 has achieved financial independence from her retired single mum. She runs:

  1. Dedun’s Cakes, a four-year-old cake and pastry company:
  2. Hair by Dedun, a six-year-old hair styling business that caters to every hair texture;
  3. DedunCooks, a six-year-old Nigerian food catering business, and
  4. Belle Artistry by Dedun, a new beauty-focused business she started earlier this year.

In an interview with Dr. Dedun, she had this to say:

“I was able to combine all these without repeating a year in the seven years of medical school. I was able to make enough to pay for my Masters. I’m sharing my story to inspire others that it doesn’t matter what your situation is; you can always challenge yourself to achieve great things whether you are a 17-year-old (like when I started) or older,”

Her work ethic is admirable, and behind it all she says was the unwavering love and support of her mother, brothers and friends.

Currently, Dr. Dedun champions an online Health feedback and awareness platform on instagram titled MY NIGERIAN HEALTH STORY

According to Dr. Dedun on her instagram page, “I was mostly taken aback by the sad experiences of Nigerians and the most common thing in their stories was about the health care provider’s lack of empathy for patients and the sad state of the emergency system.
With these stories running through my mind, I realized we have to create awareness about our healthcare system.
I believe to really bring any solution to the health system, we need to find the problems.
We need to hear the stories, you have to tell your stories. No more cussing at the system in private. Be part of the solution.
In light of this, I have created “My Nigerian Health Story” a Social Media platform that will create the awareness to jumpstart the change we need to attain in the system.
Please follow @mynigerianhealthstory
Repost on your page as this is not for myself alone but for every Nigerian that wants a positive shift in the system. Share your story using #mynigerianhealthstory so I can repost and if you want to send a private message, please send a DM and I will post it publicly. Your story can be positive or negative experiences.
Remember, this is not a one man problem. We have to join forces and act towards a better Nigeria.”

She was nominated as the Young Person of the Year at The Future Awards Africa 2016.
Dr. Dedun is an inspiration to many youths as she has extended her impact in the society by starting a vlog where she shares videos on career, health, relationship, etc
